Dancehall star Popcaan is set to return to Antigua after 13 years, headlining the One Nation Caribbean Music Festival on January 9, 2027, at the Antigua Recreation Grounds. The announcement positions the Unruly Boss as the festival’s first confirmed headliner, with organisers expected to reveal additional performers as preparations continue for the highly anticipated Caribbean music event.
Known for hits including Only Man She Want, Party Shot, Family, Firm and Strong and Everything Nice, Popcaan has established an international following through his distinctive dancehall sound and collaborations with artistes across multiple genres. His return to Antigua offers fans another opportunity to experience his catalogue live while reinforcing his continued appeal across the Caribbean music market.
The festival will be staged under the slogan “One People. One Love. One Nation.” General admission tickets are priced at EC$100, while early-bird tickets for the Root Rock Reggae Lounge are listed at EC$350. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Tuesday, October 27, through the ClicCash online platform. Organisers have indicated that physical ticket outlets will be announced at a later date.
Popcaan’s Antigua appearance also comes amid renewed attention surrounding his international career following his U.S. visa approval and arrival in Miami in October 2026. Meanwhile, discussions about potential performances in New York have fuelled speculation about his prospects in the American live-music market, although no Barclays Center concert has been confirmed. With additional One Nation Festival headliners still to be announced, Popcaan’s return after more than a decade away is an early highlight of the 2027 Caribbean festival calendar.
