Two months after its release, Masicka’s Forever Reign is still making waves across the Caribbean, securing No. 1 positions on Apple Music in six territories as the dancehall star prepares for his upcoming Forever1NE Music Festival in Portmore, Jamaica. Released on August 14 through Def Jam Recordings, the 17-track album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, strengthening Masicka’s position in the international reggae and dancehall market. Its continued chart presence adds momentum to a campaign that has also delivered major award recognition and growing anticipation for his hometown event.
According to the latest chart snapshot dated October 17, Forever Reign held the top spot in Antigua and Barbuda, the Cayman Islands, Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The album also remained competitive elsewhere, placing at No. 2 in Guyana and Saint Lucia, and No. 3 in Barbados. These rankings offer a snapshot of the project’s reach across regional markets, although chart positions can change from day to day.
The album’s individual tracks are also contributing to its continued visibility. In Jamaica, “Honor Roll” featuring Kraff Gad ranked No. 5 on Apple Music’s songs chart, while “1 Psalm” featuring Damian “Jr Gong” Marley reached No. 7. Other tracks from the project, including “Oak Tree” and “Boasty”, also appeared on the chart, showing that listener interest extends beyond the album’s title and lead singles.
Masicka’s recent run has included two wins at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards, where he received Dancehall Video of the Year for “Rich Sex” and Reggae Collaboration of the Year for “Romantic”, his collaboration with Lila Iké. He was also featured by Spotify’s Frequency editorial platform in an October feature titled “The Future of Dancehall”, further highlighting his place in conversations about the genre’s international direction.
Now, attention is turning to the Forever1NE Music Festival, scheduled for Saturday, December 19, at Caymanas Park in Portmore. Presented by Masicka’s 1Syde team in partnership with Zimi Entertainment, with Magnum as title partner, the event is set to bring the artist’s current momentum to his hometown. With Forever Reign continuing to perform across Caribbean charts, the festival gives fans another reason to watch what could be a significant next chapter in Masicka’s career.
