Vybz Kartel is gearing up to make a major mark on global fashion, teaming up with luxury streetwear powerhouse Guapi for a limited-edition collection set to drop on Monday, 8 December. The collaboration, described by Kartel as a “global moment”, signals a bold expansion of the dancehall icon’s cultural footprint beyond music and into high-end style.

The project was officially revealed on 3 December, when Kartel posted a slick promotional video that ignited instant excitement across social media. The teaser mirrors the “Worl’ Boss” persona in full force — rebellious, assured, and unapologetically creative — while offering a first glimpse of the GUAPI × WORLD BOSS pieces. Quick flashes of graphics, textures, and silhouettes hinted at a collection built for fans who want to embody the Kartel energy in their everyday wear.

The drop features a curated mix of statement items capturing the sweet spot between contemporary luxury and raw dancehall authenticity. Early visuals showcase graphic tees and hoodies stamped with the collaboration’s insignia, mesh tops reminiscent of street dance culture, and a range of bold streetwear essentials reflecting Kartel’s unmistakable flair. Accessories accented with Jamaican pride round out the collection, reinforcing Kartel’s commitment to championing Caribbean identity on a global stage.

For Guapi, the partnership adds another milestone to its evolution from an online store launched in February 2017 into one of today’s most influential luxury streetwear brands. Built on quality, inclusivity, and trend-setting creativity, the label has cultivated a massive digital following by releasing high-demand styles at a rapid pace. The brand also continues to secure major cultural moments, including its current collaboration with U.S. rapper NBA YoungBoy. “We listen to our customers and are always finding innovative ways to improve,” Guapi notes — a philosophy that aligns smoothly with Kartel’s own reputation for reinvention.

Both Kartel and Guapi made the announcement with a joint post boldly declaring: “WORLD BOSS x GUAPI — Dropping 12.08.25. A global moment.” With Kartel’s unparalleled influence in dancehall and Guapi’s command of the luxury streetwear landscape, the collaboration is shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated fashion events — and another strategic chapter in Kartel’s ongoing global dominance.
