In a groundbreaking move, Jamaican sprinter and five-time Olympic gold medalist Elaine Thompson-Herah has been named an ambassador for luxury fashion house Christian Dior ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This partnership marks a significant crossroads in Thompson-Herah’s illustrious career, as it is her first collaboration with a global fashion house. Notably, she is the only Caribbean athlete in this prestigious line-up, highlighting her global influence and exceptional talent.
Thompson-Herah’s inclusion in Dior’s “Dream Team” underscores her status as the fastest woman alive and a prevalent force in athletics. She is currently preparing to defend her Olympic titles, with her season debut at Saturday’s Prefontaine Classic signalling her readiness for the challenges ahead. This new venture with Dior complements her existing endorsement deals with NCB, Puma, and Caribbean telecommunications company Flow, showcasing her versatility and appeal beyond the track.
