Tekashi 6ix9ine has been spotted hiking in Cuba, seemingly unscathed, after being attacked in a sauna by a group of men just a week prior.
A video of the rapper shows him climbing up a hill and speaking in Spanish, wearing a hat and an unbuttoned shirt. The “Trollz” artist was hospitalized for jaw, ribs, and back injuries after the gym staff at LA Fitness in South Florida called 911. The quick-thinking team saved him from a potentially worse beating by locking him in a room during the attack.
Reports state that Tekashi did not have security during the ambush, as he has reportedly gone out in public without his hired bodyguards over the last year without issue. While he doesn’t plan on changing how he lives, his attorney plans to get him protection to prevent future incidents.
It remains unclear if the attack was linked to Tekashi’s cooperation with the government. A police investigation is underway, and his bodyguard Bam-Bam has denied rumours that he orchestrated the beatdown.
