Masicka’s Forever Reign era continues to deliver major milestones, with the dancehall star securing two wins from five nominations at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards while his third studio album maintains a strong international chart presence. Masicka won Dancehall Video of the Year for “Rich Sex” and shared the Reggae Collaboration of the Year honour with Lila Iké for “Romantic”. The latest victories arrive as Forever Reign, released on August 14, remains at No. 1 on Apple Music in seven markets: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The album’s wider performance is equally notable. Based on the September 23 chart positions, Forever Reign is also No. 2 in the Cayman Islands and Barbados, while sitting inside the Top 10 in Gambia, St Lucia and Seychelles. It is additionally charting in Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, Malawi, Belize, Dominica, Bermuda, Ghana, The Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands, Uganda and Zimbabwe. On iTunes, the project is currently No. 1 in Kenya, with No. 2 positions in Gambia and Grenada. In Jamaica, the album remains No. 1 on the Apple Music albums chart, while several tracks from the project are also performing strongly, including “Honor Roll”, “1 Psalm” and “Pointless”.
The Caribbean Music Awards wins add another layer to what has already been a significant album campaign. Forever Reign debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, giving Masicka his third consecutive studio album to enter the chart after 438 and Generation of Kings. The project subsequently remained inside the Billboard Top 10 for a second consecutive week, holding at No. 9. The album’s chart performance has also extended beyond its opening period, with its continued No. 1 positioning in Jamaica providing a clear indication of sustained local demand.
For Masicka, the latest results reinforce the central theme of the Forever Reign campaign: longevity. More than five weeks after its release, the 17-track Def Jam Recordings project is still commanding leading positions across Caribbean markets while reaching audiences in Africa and other international territories. With two Caribbean Music Awards now added to its growing list of milestones, Masicka’s Forever Reign chapter continues to expand beyond its opening-week impact and remains firmly in the conversation around contemporary dancehall’s international reach.
