After conquering streaming platforms, viral dance culture and major international award stages, “Shake It To The Max (Fly) Remix” is now dominating the Caribbean Music Awards. The global hit by Moliy, Shenseea, Skillibeng and Silent Addy secured multiple nominations across key Dancehall categories at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards, adding another milestone to a record that has already earned international award wins, RIAA Gold certification and hundreds of millions of views worldwide. As Afro-Caribbean collaborations continue reshaping global music, the trio’s dominance at this year’s awards signals the growing power of cross-cultural hits within the Caribbean industry.

At this year’s Caribbean Music Awards, Shenseea and Skillibeng each landed six nominations, while Moliy secured three nods, with “Shake It To The Max (Fly) Remix” emerging as one of the most recognised records in the field. The song earned nominations for Dancehall Song of the Year, Dancehall Collaboration of the Year and Dancehall Video of the Year, reinforcing its position as one of the defining Dancehall crossover hits of the year. Shenseea also picked up nominations for Female Dancehall Artist of the Year, Dancehall Performer of the Year and the People’s Choice Award, while Skillibeng strengthened his presence with additional nominations including Dancehall Performer of the Year and multiple collaboration nods.

The recognition follows the track’s major success at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, where Moliy, Shenseea, Skillibeng and producer Silent Addy secured double wins, including International Collaboration of the Year and Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year. The song’s momentum has continued to build globally since its release, fuelled by viral dance trends, strong streaming support and cross-market appeal spanning Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and North America. Industry observers have pointed to the collaboration as one of the clearest examples of the growing Afrobeats and Dancehall fusion movement currently influencing global popular music.

Commercially, “Shake It To The Max (Fly) Remix” has already delivered major milestones. The track earned RIAA Gold certification in the United States after surpassing 500,000 units in sales and streaming equivalents, while reports indicate the video has amassed more than 269 million YouTube views. The success has elevated the collaboration beyond a viral moment into what many now view as a cultural crossover phenomenon connecting African and Caribbean audiences through music, dance and online culture.

Meanwhile, the Caribbean Music Awards continues expanding its influence as one of the region’s fastest-growing entertainment platforms. The 2026 staging features more than 250 nominees across over 40 categories, highlighting the global rise and commercial impact of Caribbean music. With voting now officially open through August 10, anticipation is already building around whether “Shake It To The Max (Fly) Remix” can convert its global momentum into one of the night’s biggest victories.
