Alkaline’s NPT continues to defy expectations nearly three months after release, holding firm at No.1 on Antigua’s iTunes Albums Chart ahead of projects from global heavyweights including Drake, Beyoncé and Adele. The achievement marks another major milestone in what has become a historic run for the Vendetta deejay, whose latest project also became the first dancehall album to enter the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart in 2026.
Released on March 23, NPT has maintained impressive momentum across digital streaming platforms throughout the Caribbean, particularly in Antigua and Barbuda, where the album currently sits at No.4 on Apple Music in addition to its iTunes dominance. The sustained chart performance highlights Alkaline’s continued commercial strength in the region and reinforces Antigua’s reputation as one of the artiste’s strongest overseas markets.
The album’s impact extends beyond album sales. Several tracks from NPT and other projects are currently charting on Antigua’s Apple Music Songs Chart, led by “Gyal Good” at No.4. Other standout entries include “Nice & Easy” at No.21, “Masterpiece” at No.26 and “Mirage” at No.34, showcasing strong streaming support across the project weeks after release. Songs including “Hostage”, “Key Man”, “City”, “Boss”, “Spoil You” and “Different Story” have also secured placements inside the Top 100.
Meanwhile, NPT adds another chapter to Alkaline’s growing Billboard legacy. The project debuted at No.10 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, marking his third career entry on the prestigious tally following 2016’s New Level Unlocked, which debuted at No.1, and 2021’s Top Prize, which peaked at No.2. With the latest project becoming the first dancehall album to chart on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart in 2026, many fans and industry observers view the achievement as further proof of the deejay’s consistency and global reach.
As NPT continues to dominate streaming platforms and outperform internationally acclaimed releases in Antigua, the album’s longevity is quickly becoming one of dancehall’s standout success stories of 2026.
