Dancehall star Alkaline’s New Rules Festival partners with Rum Bar for the release of a limited-edition rum ahead of its Jamaica 2025 staging—a bold move that fuses entertainment with culture and commerce. This announcement comes hot on the heels of Alkaline’s sold-out concert at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, further cementing his status as one of dancehall’s most bankable stars.
In an exclusive collaboration between New Era Productions and Rum Bar Rum, the partnership has birthed a commemorative bottle celebrating the festival’s upcoming staging at the Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium on July 5, 2025. As the festival continues to grow into a major cultural brand, this limited-edition bottle—available beginning May 30—represents a powerful convergence of music, lifestyle, and heritage. “This exclusive release embodies Jamaica’s vibrant spirit… reflecting how both brands continue to capture, energize, and strengthen the space,” said Tamika West, Marketing Manager at Rum Bar Rum.

The bottle design itself is a collector’s item, crafted to honour the rich flavours of the locally produced spirit and the explosive cultural energy that New Rules is known for. New Era Productions’ Kereena Beckford added, “New Rules has changed how entertainment is experienced, and Rum Bar Rum is a natural fit in helping us elevate that.”
The New Rules media launch, scheduled for June 4, will offer early access to the bottle and an immersive experience blending tastings and music. The momentum behind the brand continues to build globally, with the Canadian staging of New Rules already 90% sold out and recent U.S. performances—including a packed Sandz event in Florida—demonstrating Alkaline’s undeniable commercial pull.
