Dancehall sensation Shenseea is making major moves this summer — not just on the charts but also in the fashion world. The Jamaican star has partnered with GlassesUSA.com to debut Shenseea’s Picks, a curated eyewear collection inspired by her bold, trend-setting style. Featuring oversized silhouettes, chic cat-eye frames, tinted lenses, and glossy finishes, the collection embodies the singer’s ethos of fearless self-expression. “For me, style is all about having fun and keeping it real,” Shenseea shared. “This collection with GlassesUSA.com is about wearing what makes you feel good and confident – just being yourself.”

This fashion-forward launch comes just as Shenseea basks in the glow of her second MTV Video Music Award nomination. She’s been tapped in the 2025 Best Afrobeats category for her feature on the “Shake It to the Max (Fly)” remix — a transcontinental banger by Ghanaian-American rising star MOLIY, which also includes Silent Addy and fellow Jamaican dancehall heavyweight Skillibeng. The track, a seamless fusion of Afro-pop, dancehall, and club-ready energy, has become a global favourite since its February release.

Beyond its VMA recognition, “Shake It to the Max (Fly)” has achieved an impressive commercial feat: over 500,000 units sold in the U.S., earning eligibility for a coveted RIAA Gold certification. It’s currently holding strong on the Billboard Hot 100, having peaked at No. 44 and spent 11 weeks on the chart — proof of its lasting impact in both Caribbean and West African markets. The remix’s success also cements Shenseea’s reputation as a genre-blending powerhouse with global appeal.

For Shenseea, this latest accolade is more than a milestone — it’s a testament to her evolving artistry and her ability to transcend musical and cultural boundaries. Her first VMA nod came in 2022 for “Push Performance of the Year,” thanks to a magnetic live rendition of “R U That” with 21 Savage, from her debut album Alpha. Now, with another nomination under her belt and a fashion collaboration in full swing, Shenseea is proving she’s not just riding the wave — she’s creating it.

Whether she’s making noise on stage, on the Billboard charts, or now in fashion with Shenseea’s Picks, the multi-hyphenate star continues to expand her reach while staying true to her roots. And with the 2025 VMAs set for September 10 in New Jersey, all eyes will be on this dancehall queen as she adds even more momentum to her unstoppable rise.
