Nigel Hector, known in the entertainment world as the vibrant dancehall artist ‘Nigy Boy‘, celebrated a significant milestone as he graduated with distinction from Stony Brook University. The culmination of years of hard work and dedication saw Nigy Boy receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and History. His triumphant walk across the stage was met with resounding applause, marking a momentous occasion not only for him but also for his legion of fans, who have supported him tirelessly throughout his academic journey.

Nigy Boy’s achievements extend far beyond the academic realm, as evidenced by his recent musical triumphs. Just days prior to his graduation, he graced the stage at the renowned UBS Arena in New York, headlining the ‘Farm Up Jamaica Climate Smart Concert‘. Amidst a lineup of esteemed artists, Nigy Boy delivered a performance that left a memorable mark on the audience, showcasing his captivating stage presence and undeniable talent. With hits like “Judgement,” “Continent,” and “Waterfalls” under his belt, Nigy Boy’s star continues to rise in the competitive world of dancehall music.

Nigy Boy’s impact on the entertainment industry was further underscored by a special invitation to the New York State Assembly session on May 7th. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Nigy Boy received a standing ovation from assembly members, solidifying his status as a rising star in both music and entertainment. This invitation, extended by Caribbean-American Assembly member Alicia Hyndman, highlighted Nigy Boy’s growing influence and impact beyond the realm of music.

At just 23 years old, Nigy Boy’s ascent to prominence has been nothing short of meteoric. From captivating covers on social media platforms to collaborative hits with acclaimed producer Rvssian, his journey exemplifies perseverance and talent in equal measure.
