Blessed, a collaboration featuring Ghanaian singer KiDi and dancehall star Mavado continues to climb the billboard chart.
After debuting at No.17 three weeks ago, then climbing to No.7 last week, the single has jumped another five spots this week to No.2 on the Billboard Top Thriller Global Chart.
In celebration, the Gullyside deejay, whose given name is David Brooks, took to Instagram to thank fellow entertainer KiDi and the fans globally for their continued support, amid encouraging them to push the song to No.1,
“Worldwide fans give thanks and keep it going to number one ???? @kidimusic @billboard“, he wrote.
The official lyric video has amassed over 1.7 million views on Youtube since debuting in June.
According to Triller, the Billboard Top Triller Global chart features the most popular songs on the Triller platform based on a formula that combines the number of views of videos containing a respective song, the level of engagement with those videos, and the raw total of videos uploaded featuring each song.
Meanwhile, plans are in high gear for Mavado’s upcoming birthday celebration slated for December 10 in Queens, New York. The billing also features deejay 450 and comedian Deno Crazy with musical selections by Boom Boom, Noah Powa & Dj Polish, Tony Matterhorn and Fire Links, among others.
