After making a successful debut at last month’s Kingston Music Festival in Toronto, Canada, dancehall artiste Chronic Law is back in Jamaica and recently joined forces with Mad Dawg Entertainment to release a new project.
The project, a rhythm compilation dubbed Game Over, sees the 6ixx deejay teaming up with the Grants Pen-based production outfit spearheaded by brothers Kori and Jason Senior for the release of the single, Too Dark.
Too Dark chronicles a tale of grimey street encounters by characters with inflated egos and short tempers.
Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, label representative Jason Senior says working with Chronic Law was a welcoming experience,
“Despite the perception others may have, Chronic Law is a very cool person; working with him on ‘Too Dark’ was very easy, and he kept it professional, which as a label we greatly appreciated.” – He exclaimed.
Released last Friday, Too Dark was trending at the No.27 spot on the Youtube Music Chart over the weekend and amassed over 216,000 views.
Distributed by Zojak Worldwide, the hard-hitting dancehall compilation also features Grants Pen native Savage Savo and relative newcomers Soviyet, Javel and Thug Famous. The record label currently manages the latter.
Thug Famous and Javel’s collaboration Bad Gal has already broken the million mark on Youtube in only nine days.
