Renowned producer Richard Roache of Digital One Music is set to impact the airwaves with the release of a powerful new single from Jah Vinci titled ‘Jah Will Lead You.’ Slated to drop on all major digital and streaming platforms this Friday, September 13, the project is distributed by OneRPM and promises soul-stirring vibes. The track forms part of the ‘Heart String Riddim‘ compilation, scheduled for release at the end of the month. The collective boasts an impressive array of artists, including Turbulence, G-Whizz, Ethiopian, Ibo Fyah, and Delly Ranx, among others.
Roache, who has worked with Reggae and Dancehall heavyweights such as Vybz Kartel on ‘Up To Di Time‘ and Chronixx on ‘Odd Ras,’ described ‘Jah Will Lead You‘ as a deeply emotional and uplifting anthem. “The song was very emotional, uplifting, but not sad,” Roache shared. “It’s one of those songs that when you hear it, no matter what is happening or what you’re going through or where life takes you, we can take comfort in knowing the Almighty will lead and always take us to our destination.”
Roache also took the opportunity to praise the contributions of musician and producer Llamar’ Riff Raff’ Brown and the legendary Paul Henton, better known as Computer Paul. Henton, whose storied career includes crafting tracks for iconic artists like Bounty Killer, Capleton, Beenie Man, Super Cat, Sizzla, Shabba, and Buju Banton, continues to bring his signature sound to the forefront of the genre. Roache lauded their work, stating, “Collaborating with Riff Raff and Computer Paul brought a unique depth and authenticity to the ‘Heart String Riddim.‘ Their expertise is invaluable and truly shines through in this project.“
Originally envisioned as a single, ‘Jah Will Lead You‘ resonated so deeply with Roache that it evolved into a full juggling project, reflecting the song’s message of faith and perseverance. “The inspirational nature of this song resonated with me on another level because I, too, have been in that place asking for guidance and leadership and having faith in that higher power to take you through some situations,“ Roache explained. As the first release from this promising compilation, ‘Jah Will Lead You‘ has already garnered significant attention. With the backing of Digital One Music, along with the accompaniment of an official video, it’s poised to become an anthem of hope and resilience across the Reggae and Dancehall landscape.
