The news was confirmed by a reliable source within the singer’s inner circle and reported by Prism Marketing Consultants. This is a highly significant development for the Rastafarian crooner and his fans alike, who have been eagerly awaiting his return.
Returning to the American stage, Sizzla’s team wasted no time resuming his performance schedule, already securing bookings for various high-profile events. Among these engagements is his eagerly anticipated appearance at Boston’s Dancehall Reggae Fest Series on August 10. Additionally, European and Caribbean fans can anticipate his presence at reputable gatherings such as Reggae Barbados Weekend on April 27 and the Sunsplash Reggae Festival in the Netherlands on Sunday, July 21.

His songs “Nah Apologize” and “Murder Dem” have drawn criticism from human rights groups, particularly within the LGBTQ community. In 2008, the U.S. Embassy revoked his work visa without officially disclosing the reasons, but many speculated that his contentious lyrics played a role in the decision. As a result, numerous tour dates were cancelled. Since then, Sizzla has been working to reinstate his U.S. work permit, starting in 2019.
