Jamaican songstress Jada Kingdom continues to work towards establishing herself as a formidable presence in the music industry following her successful debut at the just concluded Reggae Sumfest.
With her sights set on international conquest, Jada has scored a feature on Canadian rapper Roy Woods’s highly anticipated sophomore album, “Mixed Emotion.”
The 17-track set, slated to release on Friday, July 28th via OVO Sounds, showcases Jada’s vocal prowess on track No.7 titled “That Thing.” Roy Woods recently shared his vision for the project in an interview with RollingOut Magazine, describing it as a transformation from his younger self to the artist he is today. He emphasized that the album remains true to his unique style as he continues to express his pain and life experiences through his music.
Roy Woods, known for his affiliation with OVO Sound, a record label co-founded by Drake, Noah “40” Shebib, and Oliver El-Khatib, is also the founder of his own collective, Unlock The Underground.
