Award-winning American actress Kerry Washington delighted her fans with glimpses of her tropical Jamaican getaway, showcasing her enviable physique and effortless style.
The 46-year-old actress shared photos on Instagram, posing in front of a restaurant wearing a brown bikini top peeking out from under a low-cut woven shirt. She completed the look with a contrasting print skirt and a bright yellow belt cinched around her slender waist. Her red ombre locks cascaded loosely over her toned shoulders, adding to her radiant appearance.
In her caption, Kerry expressed her love for Jamaica, describing it as “just the way you like it,” accompanied by a fire emoji. While enjoying her vacation, she also hinted at a new project, posting a video on Instagram where she thanked Jamaican dancehall superstar Sean Paul for joining her. Although she didn’t disclose the details of the project, Kerry mentioned her upcoming book tour, promoting her memoir titled “Thicker Than Water,” set to release on September 26, 2023.
In another video post, she shared her excitement about the book tour, promising an inspiring evening where she would discuss lessons learned on and off screen and teasing a special guest appearance.
The Thicker Than Water book tour will coincide with the release of Kerry’s memoir and will take place across various venues on the East and West coasts, including two stops in the U.K. Although the London venue is yet to be announced, Kerry revealed her secret to maintaining her radiant glow—a “little staycation.” Leaving her husband and three kids at home, she enjoyed a night at a hotel to unwind and prioritize self-care. Kerry emphasized the importance of engaging in loving behaviour, which helps her feel more loved and lovable.
