After becoming the first and youngest woman to win a GRAMMY Award in the “Best Reggae Album” category, Jamaican songstress Koffee continues to break new ground for her career.

On Friday, February 10, the singer received a platinum certification in the U.K for “Toast“, the lead single from her debut EP “Rapture“, released on March 14, 2019.

According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), the award was issued after her record sold approximately 600,000 units. The EP, responsible for securing her first GRAMMY nomination and subsequent win, peaked at No.1 on the iTunes Reggae Chart.

Meanwhile, later this month, the 3rd Annual Afro-Carib Festival (ACF) will unfold at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater in Florida, where Koffee is billed as one of the headlining acts.

The event scheduled for Saturday, February 25K, hosted by the City of Miramar and presented by Visit Lauderdale, will feature a diverse lineup of musicians representing various genres from the Caribbean and African Diaspora.

The event brings together musicians, craftsmen, artists, creators, food vendors, and fans to celebrate the rich music, culture, and cuisine manifested from these powerful bonds.
