Shenseea has added another major chapter to her 2026 awards run, winning three Caribbean Music Awards on September 19 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, including Female Dancehall Artist of the Year. She also took home Dancehall Collaboration of the Year and Dancehall Song of the Year for “Shake It to the Max (Fly) [Remix]” alongside Moliy and Skillibeng. The victories came just days after Shenseea was crowned Best Female Reggae/Dancehall at the 2026 AFRIMMA Awards, strengthening her international awards profile.
The Female Dancehall Artist of the Year victory is particularly significant because it marks Shenseea’s second consecutive win in the category, following her 2025 triumph. Her latest haul also gives “Shake It to the Max (Fly) [Remix]” two major Caribbean Music Awards, with the song winning both Collaboration and Song of the Year. The record, which brings together Ghanaian and Jamaican talent, was among the most prominent crossover dancehall releases of the past year.
The song’s latest recognition adds another layer to an increasingly international story. Moliy became the first Ghanaian artiste to win a Caribbean Music Award, while Shenseea’s back-to-back presence on the winning Dancehall Song of the Year record connects her 2025 “Hit & Run” victory with this year’s “Shake It to the Max” win. The 2026 ceremony also marked the first time the Caribbean Music Awards were staged in Trinidad and Tobago, at the National Academy for the Performing Arts in Port of Spain.
Meanwhile, Shenseea’s AFRIMMA victory further expands the reach of the achievement. AFRIMMA’s official 2026 results list the Jamaican star as the winner of Best Female Reggae / Dancehall, placing her among the event’s recognised Caribbean-linked voices on an awards platform centred on African music and global cultural influence.
With three Caribbean Music Awards trophies, consecutive recognition as Female Dancehall Artist of the Year and an AFRIMMA title now added to her 2026 résumé, Shenseea’s year continues to underline the increasingly global reach of contemporary Jamaican dancehall.
