Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, Keznamdi revealed that a recent internal review showed a dramatic shift in consumer behaviour following the nomination. Earlier in the year, his brand typically moved between 20 and 30 merchandise items per month. However, bolstered by a refined marketing strategy and the prestige of a Grammy nod, sales have multiplied fivefold. “It’s a great feeling to see your hard work paying off,” he shared. “Credit must be given to my team, who have been working relentlessly to expand the brand. And of course the fans — since the nomination, the visibility has been next level, and for that I’m grateful.”
The spike follows the launch of Keznamdi’s Blxxd & Fyah merchandise line last September, an exclusive collection named after the album and featuring vinyl records, T-shirts, hats, socks and other apparel, available via his official website. The success mirrors the album’s wider momentum. Upon its release in August, Blxxd & Fyah stormed to No.1 on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Albums Chart, while four tracks — “Time,” “Pressure,” “Identity Crisis” and “Serious Times” — secured consecutive top-six placements on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Songs Chart.
Meanwhile, Keznamdi’s profile continues to rise internationally. Blxxd & Fyah has earned praise from heavyweight tastemakers, including Billboard, XXL, Hot 97, The Hype Magazine and This Is 50, positioning the project as a culturally rooted yet globally resonant statement. Adding to the momentum, the official video for “Forever Grateful” featuring Masicka debuted at No.47 on YouTube’s Music Trending Chart in Jamaica, while “Colonial Bondage” recently entered the Canadian iTunes Reggae Songs Chart at No.8 — further proof of his expanding global reach.
