On Wednesday afternoon, fans of dancehall superstar Popcaan were left disappointed after it was announced that the inaugural staging of the Unruly Culture Splash Weekender slated for Croatia next month had been postponed.
The announcement came courtesy of a social media post on Instagram with the word “Postponed” superimposed over the official artwork, with the accompanying caption,
“Due to unforeseen circumstances @pollen unfortunately had to postpone the Unruly Culture Splash Weekender event in Croatia September 1-5, 2022. They are sorting out all refunds. More details soon.”
Despite no new date announcement, fans remain optimistic about the festivities being staged sometime later this year.
The Croatia staging of Unruly Culture Splash Weekender at Pag Island was billed as a four-day music festival from September 1 to 5. The event featured music from Jamaica, Africa, and the United Kingdom with sound clashes, pool parties, excursions and performances by the Unruly Boss, Beenie Man, Juls and Smallgod & Friends.
