Dancehall songstress Shenseea is entering a new chapter in her career as she celebrates her 30th birthday, secures a feature on Yung Miami’s debut solo album and prepares to release her debut EP on November 6. The three developments signal a significant moment for the international recording artiste, bringing together cross-genre collaboration, personal milestones and a new body of music under her record-label partnership with Since ’93/Columbia Records.

Shenseea appears alongside fellow Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel and Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido on the remix of “Spend Dat”, featured on Yung Miami’s debut solo album, Watch Dis, released on October 23. The collaboration connects dancehall with Afrobeats and American hip-hop, potentially extending Shenseea’s reach across several international music markets. Her reunion with Kartel is also notable, given their previous collaboration on “Loodi”, which helped introduce her to a wider dancehall audience.

Meanwhile, anticipation is building for Shenseea’s November 6 release. According to reports, the project will be her debut EP, with Skillibeng expected to make an appearance. The anticipated collaboration has generated additional interest, although the feature should not be treated as confirmed until the official tracklist is released. Shenseea has also teased a song titled “Garden”, accompanied by visuals filmed in Jamaica, clarifying that the track is not the EP’s title.

The upcoming project follows Shenseea’s September release of “Vulnerability”, a deeply personal single exploring themes of family, loss, relationships and self-reflection. The song offered a more intimate perspective on the artiste, whose career has increasingly bridged Jamaican dancehall and international pop. Her latest moves suggest a continued effort to balance her Jamaican musical identity with a broader global presence.

As Shenseea enters her thirties, the combination of an international album feature and an imminent EP release gives fans a fresh reason to watch her next move. With November 6 approaching, attention will turn to the official tracklist, confirmed guest appearances and the musical direction of her debut EP.
