Chronixx Shuts Down Fake Representation in Urgent Public Warning: “No One Negotiates on My Behalf”

Reggae star Chronixx has sounded the alarm as scammers continue to falsely claim to represent him, prompting an urgent warning to fans, promoters, and members of the Jamaican music community. The singer, known for his guarded approach to the spotlight, took to Instagram Story on Tuesday to make his position unmistakably clear: no third party is authorised to speak, negotiate, or secure bookings on his behalf.

In his statement, Chronixx reminded supporters that his professional affairs are handled with full transparency and strictly through official channels. “There is no such thing as ‘I have a link to Chronixx.’ It doesn’t exist,” he wrote. “All my relationships are contractual and open… Everything is signed and approved by Le Chron! No one negotiates on my behalf.” He also noted that Jamaicans have been the primary targets of these fraudulent claims, urging the public to avoid intermediaries entirely. His message was as blunt as it was protective: “If you’re not talking to Chronixx.com, you’re getting chopped.”

The warning lands at a time when Chronixx’s name is back in steady circulation following the release of his album Exile in October. The project, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Reggae iTunes Chart, has seen renewed momentum since Hurricane Melissa, when the track “Hurricane” surged in streams as fans shared the record during relief efforts. Despite the organic buzz, Exile arrived quietly — without a major rollout — yet still charted strongly across the Caribbean, Europe, Japan, and the United States.

However, Chronixx has made it clear that his current priority is safeguarding the public, not promoting his album. His message aims to shut down any avenue for deception, stressing that the only legitimate point of contact is his official website. Meanwhile, fans have applauded his direct approach, noting that the warning underscores the ongoing challenges artists face in protecting their brands and supporters from exploitation.

As Exile continues to climb playlists worldwide, Chronixx remains focused on clarity, transparency, and fan protection — ensuring that anyone approaching him or his music does so through the right channels.
