“Haters Stay Far”: Tower Band Issues Warning After Viral Guyana Performance with Masicka

Fresh off a viral performance in Guyana, the fast-rising Tower Band is sending a blunt message to the industry: “Haters, beware.” The dynamic musical collective, led by Kryss Ras and Prof, has been dominating stages across the region — from Jamaica to Barbados to Guyana — and their latest explosive set alongside dancehall powerhouse Masicka has ignited social media. Now, they’re doubling down with two new releases, “Haters Stay Far” and “No Case,” both crafted as gritty warnings to anyone hoping to dim their momentum.

Tower Band has quickly become one of the most sought-after live units on the local circuit, serving as the musical backbone for elite dancehall and reggae names including Bugle, Teejay, Skeng, Masicka, and Aidonia. Their new single, “Haters Stay Far,” released November 12 with its accompanying visual, takes direct aim at detractors — laying down a clear boundary and the consequences of crossing it. Meanwhile, “No Case,” which debuted as an audio release on October 10, leans into a darker, street-driven energy, with the official video set to drop this Friday under the Tower Music Media Group banner.

Their rapid-fire ascent didn’t happen by chance. Since the start of the year, Tower Band has been relentless: kicking things off in Clarendon as the opening act at the Truck Show, powering Masicka’s performances, joining Aidonia’s massive 20th anniversary celebration at Sabina Park, and appearing in St. John for another high-energy showcase. Their summer run in the United States with Tony Rebel further amplified their reach, followed by their “Tower Band Live Up Close” promotional series back home. From BLK Black River Festival to major stages in Barbados, the group performed for Chronic Law, Govana, Jahmiel, T.O.K., Shaneil Muir, and Masicka — a résumé that would take many acts years to build.

Now, with their Guyana performance going viral, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Tower Band is stepping into its own spotlight, releasing music that mirrors the fire they bring to the stage. As “Haters Stay Far” and “No Case” roll out across TowerBand VEVO and all major digital platforms, the collective is making one thing clear: this is only the beginning, and anyone hoping to stand in their way should reconsider.
