In the aftermath of the Category 5 storm that so far left 28 Jamaicans dead and hundreds displaced, the deejay has announced the formation of The Adidja Palmer Foundation, a charity initiative dedicated to disaster relief and long-term social development.
Kartel’s announcement came via social media on Saturday night, shortly after his triple sold-out concert series in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena — a symbolic moment that fused global stardom with renewed purpose. The artist, born Adidja Palmer, unveiled the foundation’s logo alongside a heartfelt message:
