Dancehall heavyweight Aidonia is officially set to return to the U.K. on Friday, November 28, for an exclusive concert at the Troxy in London — marking his determined comeback after the chaotic Sandz Caribbean Music Festival shutdown in August. The 4th Genna head honcho, who previously apologized to fans following the incident, says this time he’s coming back “stronger, sharper, and ready to deliver a real show.”
According to his manager and brother Lav “Lalo” Lawrence, the upcoming event will be “a completely different experience.” He told Prism Marketing Consultants, “Aidonia is excited and can’t wait to see his British fans come November. He also has a special 90-minute, high-energy set planned with a few surprises. This show is somewhat different from his last outing, as it’s an indoor venue, so it’s easier for security to control. His fans don’t need to worry about what happened last August.”
The November date follows what was meant to be a triumphant return after an 18-year absence from the U.K., cut short when police were forced to end the Sandz Festival at Addington Park due to crowd breaches and security concerns. Following the incident, Aidonia publicly apologized on Instagram, writing, “SORRY TO ALL MY FANS IN THE UK ?? GOTTA MAKE THIS UP TO YOU GOTTA MAKE IT RIGHT!!!!! NUFF LOVE ❤️.” His words resonated deeply with fans who had been waiting nearly two decades to see him perform live again.
