Dancehall heavyweight Aidonia is officially preparing to release a brand-new project later this year, adding fresh excitement to what has already become one of the entertainer’s strongest summer runs in recent memory. The confirmation comes just days after the 4th Genna deejay delivered a standout performance at the 2026 St. Kitts Music Festival, where his high-energy set generated major reactions both inside Warner Park Stadium and across social media platforms.
Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, Aidonia’s brother and manager Lav “Lalo” Lawrence confirmed that a new body of work is currently in development. However, he remained guarded on specific details, declining to reveal whether the upcoming release will be an EP or full-length album.
“We are currently working on a new project, that’s all I can say at this time,” Lawrence stated.
The announcement has already triggered widespread speculation among fans, many of whom believe the project could mark a major new chapter for the veteran dancehall star. The release would be Aidonia’s first official project since “Occupied Mind”, the 23-track set released in December 2023 following the passing of his son, Khalif Lawrence. The emotionally charged project resonated deeply with supporters and showcased a more reflective side of the deejay while reinforcing his lyrical consistency within the genre.
Meanwhile, Aidonia continues to dominate the regional entertainment space. His latest single “Like How Yuh Feel” recently climbed to No. 1 on Apple Music across several Caribbean territories, including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and the British Virgin Islands. The momentum was further amplified by his commanding appearance at the St. Kitts Music Festival, where he shared the stage with fellow Jamaican stars Masicka, Mavado and Kranium during the island’s premier annual music showcase.
With streaming traction increasing, festival demand growing and anticipation surrounding the mystery project continuing to intensify online, Aidonia appears poised for another major moment in dancehall as fans now await further announcements from the 4th Genna camp.
