Yendi Phillips, former Miss Jamaica World and television host, delighted her family and fans with a heartwarming pregnancy reveal video.
Ten months after marrying businessman Omar McFarlane, Yendi shared the special moment with her loved ones. The video featured daughter, Israel Mcgregor, engaging in an earnest handshake with her stepfather before presenting a photo of the ultrasound of her unborn sibling. It was a joyous occasion for the family, as Israel had long desired a sibling, and her mom finally granted that wish.
Yendi’s journey to this point has been filled with notable achievements. As the runner-up of Miss Universe 2010, she represented Jamaica in the prestigious competition held in Las Vegas. Her outstanding performance in the swimsuit and evening gown rounds earned her an impressive overall score. Although she fell just short of the crown, finishing second to Mexico, Yendi’s accomplishments placed her among the select few who have achieved success in both the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.
Apart from her recent marriage, Yendi is also a dedicated mother to her ten-year-old daughter, Israel, whom she shares with dancehall artiste Daniel ‘Chino’ McGregor from a previous relationship.
