Reggae firebrand and chief of An9ted Entertainment, Bugle, is back in album mode following his birthday celebrations last night in Portmore, St. Catherine.
During the private affair held at the Di Legendary Bar and Grill in Portmore, the singer, while speaking with members of the media, disclosed that plans are afoot to amplify his studio presence in the weeks ahead as the focus shifts to his sixth studio effort,
“At this moment, we are just giving thanks for life and celebrating another year above ground. After this, the focus will be on my next album,” – he stated.
One of Reggae-Dancehall’s most prolific singers and songwriters, the Rastafarian crooner said he is not able to divulge much presently as the project is still in its infancy, but promises the standard and offerings will be on or above par with what fans have become accustomed.
His previous efforts include Anointed (2014), Be Yourself (2017), Picture Perfect (2019), Toxicity (2021) and Toxicity (Deluxe) in 2022.
Bugle’s Toxicity (Deluxe), the repackaged edition released last summer, was among the 67 albums shortlisted in the “Best Reggae Albums” category for GRAMMY consideration at the 65th instalment of the ceremony slated for this February 5 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
The 16-track deluxe edition executively produced by An9ted Entertainment boasts a fresh cover art, seven new tracks and a stellar list of collaborators, including Marcia Griffiths, Bounty Killer, Kabaka Pyramid, Dexta Daps, Ding Dong, Laa Lee, Dj Brandon, Adena Myrie, Tony Gold, Nation Boss, Bobo Flamez, AfroBeat Billboard hitmaker Heph B and GRAMMY nominees Julian Marley and Jesse Royal.
VPal Music and Evidence Music jointly distributed the project, now available via all major digital and streaming platforms.
The singer is currently promoting his latest single, “Fully Bright‘ an ode to education.
