Arguably one of the hottest tickets out of Jamaica since the start of the year, dancehall artiste Skillibeng has once again secured another high-profile collaboration on an international project.
The deejay has landed a feature on “The Fuse Is Lit”, the forthcoming five-track EP from Brooklyn rapper Busta Rhymes. Skillibeng lent his vocals on the track “Bulletproof Skin“, produced by Kosa and accomplished Jamaican maestro Rvssian.
Unable to contain his excitement, Busta Rhymes on Monday took to Instagram to share the announcement; the fast-rhyming lyricist wrote,
“I couldn’t wait!!! BRAND NEW @bustarhymes ‘THE FUSE IS LIT’ EP DROPPIN’ 11.11.22
THE 🐉 RETURNS!! #THEFUSEISLIT,”
Amid the flurry of exultant comments, one user, seemingly unhappy with the track count, wrote,
“Bro U out of all people u CANNOT drop a 5 disc album… need at least 30 tracks.”
Out this Friday, November 11, via various digital platforms ‘The Fuse Is Lit” also feature vocals from Big Daddy Kane, Conway The Machine and Capella Grey with Swizz Beatz, Marley Marl, Focus and BBearded rounding off the production credits.
This latest track set is the follow-up to Busta’s tenth studio album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, released two years ago.
