According to the results of an autopsy performed on the body of popular social media figure Aneka ‘Slickianna’ Townsend, she died of strangulation.
Prism Marketing Consultants understands that the autopsy was conducted on Saturday, as reported by a senior investigator. According to the detective, plans are afoot to interview Mr Rushane Patterson, the man named as a person of interest in the death of Townsend.
Initially believed to have fled the country, Patterson was captured by law enforcement officials days later in Hanover following the gruesome discovery of Townsend’s body in Reading, Montego Bay, St. James, where it was fished from the sea.
Initial inquiries led police to conclude that the deceased woman was last seen alive in the company of Patterson at a well-known restaurant in the parish. Townsend, a resident of Kingston, is said to have travelled to Montego Bay earlier in the week, where she met Patterson.
Since taken into custody, he has been charged with abduction and assault with the intention to rob relating to a 2018 incident in Duhaney Park, St Andrew
