Dancehall artiste Byiome Muir better known as I-Octane, has broken his silence on the controversial Klansman Gang trial in which an alleged member accused him of having affiliations to the notorious group.

The “Lose A Friend” singer lashed out at his naysayers in a video now making the rounds on social media. His rants were directed at some members of the blogging/vlogging community and the entertainment fraternity, who forsook him for allegedly having ties to the Spanish Town-based criminal organisation. Contrastly, he paid tribute to a select group of individuals who showed continued support via interviews and his music rotation despite the circumstances.

According to Octane, he has been receiving a flurry of phone calls and direct messages since news broke that several alleged Klansman Gang members had been found not guilty of the charges levelled against them.

“Everything is happening now, oonu a come call me now bout Octane, yuh did innocent fi true,” he exclaimed.

The singer further intimated that he would not be commenting on the matter with any blogger or members of the broader public because many of these persons were the same individuals who helped tarnish his reputation by claiming he was guilty.

“Yow weh oonu a bloodcl**t call me fah, don’t bombocl**t call me phone, me see oonu ah call me but me nah answer”. He said

“Now blogger a DM me bout Octane weh yuh haffi seh, case dun now. P*ssy wull a oonu seh mi a criminal, seh mi a gunman, wull a oonu fling mi under di bombocl**t bus fi a do music, zeen. Guh s*ck yuh mada, s*ck unu mada”.

The deejay also cautioned promoters who had refused to book him because he was considered “too risky” to expect an exponential increase in fees if they intended to secure his services for their events.

“And some a oonu promoter weh did a seh dem cya book him because it risky, mek sure seh oonu money triple,” he stressed.

I-Octane’s name was mentioned during a secret recording by an ex-gangster-turned-witness in a conversation with one of the alleged gang members, Fabian “Crocs” Johnson, during the Klansman Gang trial at the Home Circuit Court.
