Dancehall artiste Rytikal is counting his blessing after a scary encounter on the highway over the weekend.
The deejay was involved in a car accident that saw the vehicle in which he was traveling flipped onto its side and lodged against a hillside.
According to preliminary reports, the artiste was a passenger in a white Toyota motorcar returning from an event when the incident occurred. The cause of the accident has not been ascertained. However, checks revealed that the occupants sustained no significant injuries despite the bizarre circumstances.
Chronicling the event, Rytikal took to social media, stating,
“Jah Jah yow mi crash pon d high way… active a lie” accompanied by several laughing emojis.
Rytikal recently made headlines after rebuffing criticism leveled against his peers by sects within the society for glorifying the illicit practice of ‘guard rings. The current trend, popular amongst the youths and some entertainers, has led to the recent killing of William Knibb High School student Khamal Hall by his classmate over a stolen guard ring.
