These accolades underscore Rvssian’s unparalleled ability to craft music that transcends borders and resonates with audiences worldwide.
Nostalgico, featuring Rauw Alejandro and Chris Brown, has achieved over 1.08 million units in sales and streaming equivalents since its release in September 2021. The track dominated charts across Latin America and Europe, peaking at No. 6 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay and No. 11 on Hot Latin Songs. It also secured multi-platinum certifications in Spain (4x platinum), Mexico (2x platinum), and gold in Brazil. “It’s a great feeling because this shows that the songs continue to grow,” Rvssian remarked, reflecting on the track’s enduring appeal.
Meanwhile, Santa, a 2024 collaboration with Ayra Starr and Rauw Alejandro, has sold 780,000 units, earning it 13x platinum status. The song soared to No. 1 in Bolivia, Peru, and Spain, while making notable entries on the Billboard Global 200 (No. 20) and Latin Airplay (No. 25). “This really means a lot; it’s just another form of accreditation towards our achievements,” Rvssian shared, emphasizing the significance of these milestones in his career.
Rvssian’s success in the Latin market is a testament to his versatility and vision. Having first made his mark in dancehall with icons like Vybz Kartel and Konshens, he has seamlessly transitioned into the global arena, collaborating with some of the biggest names in Latin music. With plans to release new projects in the Latin, dancehall, and Italian markets in 2025, Rvssian’s trajectory shows no signs of slowing down.
