Grammy-award-winning music producer and businessman Comar “Frankie” Campbell is gearing up for an expansive 2024 with a flurry of new projects and strategic business ventures. Following the success of the ‘Essence Of Reggae Music Festival‘ earlier in the year, Campbell, known professionally as Frankie Music, is redirecting his focus towards bolstering his music output and business infrastructure.
Under the umbrella of Frankie Music Production, a label recognized for nurturing talent and delivering hits, Campbell is orchestrating the release of multiple projects into the music market. Dancehall fans can anticipate fresh singles from signed artists such as Laa Lee and the dynamic duo Kevyn V & Qraig (Voicemail), each bearing the hallmark of Frankie’s production prowess. Laalee’s latest offerings, ‘Screechie‘ and ‘Gyal Dem Time‘ featuring ReniGAD, along with Voicemail’s provocative single ‘Pay Grade,’ precede the imminent release of the electrifying ‘Bashment Riddim.’ To mark this occasion, a listening party is scheduled at the studio located at 111b Molynes Road on Thursday, April 25.
In collaboration with noted event coordinator and music producer Luigi Society, Frankie Music is poised to unveil the highly anticipated ‘Smooth Sailing Riddim‘ on Friday, April 19. This reggae compilation features a stellar lineup of industry heavyweights, including Lutan Fyah, Turbulence, Junior Kelly, Munga Honorable, Voicemail, and more, promising to captivate audiences with its signature sound and infectious rhythms.
Amidst the creative whirlwind within the studio, Campbell is also teasing a forthcoming reggae single from Natural Blacks, adding another dimension to Frankie Music’s diverse repertoire. However, expansion remains a key focus for the businessman. In a strategic move to accommodate growing demands and enhance operational efficiency, Frankie Music is unveiling a second recording studio and an official office for the Frankie Music Production Booking Agency at its Molynes Road location.
