As summer unfolds, Laa Lee, one of the hottest tickets in dancehall, continues to up the ante on his career with more corporate endorsements.
The “Bird” hitmaker, in his latest conquest, has secured another campaign with global beverage giant Pepsi. His first came courtesy of telecommunication company Digicel.
Dubbed the “Bong Bing Challenge“, the campaign sees the dancehall star encouraging fans to record themselves showing off their best ‘Bong Bing’ dance moves while drinking Pepsi. Winners will subsequently get a chance to meet him and win tickets to this year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest, where he’s slated to perform on Friday, July 22.
Speaking on the attainment, manager Frankie of Frankie Music said, “Laa Lee as an artist and individual, exudes a very pleasant and captivating persona, so it’s only natural that Pepsi would see the value in such a partnership, and for that, we are grateful.”
With the rollout of this new campaign, Frankie says he is looking forward to the increased exposure for both brands.
Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, Laa lee departed the island for the U.S., where he’s billed for a pair of performances in Hartford, Connecticut, on July 1 and Maryland (DMV) on July 3.
