Since the emergence of the viral #RockNRyno challenge, ignited by DJ Franco several weeks ago, dancehall sensation Blak Ryno has experienced a surge of support from the Caribbean community, including notable figures like Jamaican entertainment personality ZJ Sparks and Barbados’s DJ Puffy, alongside other accomplished music producers and disc jockeys.
This newfound interest has culminated in the release of “Star Up In The Sky,” Ryno’s inaugural single for the new year. Produced by Silver Bird Records, Get Em Franco (Bloodline Franco), and ZJ Sparks’s Twelve 9 Records, this collaborative effort offers a fresh musical experience for fans of the artist. A captivating rock complements the gritty yet heartfelt lyrics. The beat, expertly crafted and mixed by Chambah of Silver Bird Records, is further enhanced by electrifying guitar work courtesy of Tara Dean Williamson from the popular Jamaican all-girl band Adazeh.
Released on January 26th, the song serves as the lead from his upcoming EP. This five-track compilation, spearheaded by ZJ Sparks, is scheduled for release within the first quarter of the New Year and boasts contributions from the aforementioned collaborators alongside musicians Simon Skygrass and Christopher Birch.
Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, ZJ Sparks revealed that the project is currently in production, stating, “We are presently crafting some suitable beats for Ryno and the official video for ‘Star Up In The Sky’ has been shot. Based on the current timeline, we anticipate a release date within the first quarter of this year.”
Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Ryno said, “This marks a new chapter for me musically, and I am hopeful that the fans will appreciate this evolution.”
