Dancehall artists Fully Bad, Honormosity, and Kyodi have found themselves entangled with the law following the tumultuous events at Sting 2023, a concert held at Jamworld in Portmore, St Catherine.
Known for its iconic clashes, Sting promised a face-off between Kyodi and Fully Bad, attracting patrons to witness the anticipated showdown. However, the clash took an unexpected turn when Honormosity, attempting to join the performance, triggered a confrontation that escalated into a physical altercation between Fully Bad (Nicholas Bartley) and Honormosity (Layton Simms).
In the aftermath, Honormosity, along with several others, were taken into police custody. Senior Superintendent of Police Christopher Phillips, head of the St. Catherine South division, commended officers’ quick intervention, acknowledging their role in ending the fight promptly. Despite the chaotic end, Phillips praised the organizers of Sting and disclosed plans for a debriefing session with promoters to address necessary improvements.
Simultaneously, Kyodi, Fully Bad, and Honormosity were detained by the police, who confirmed their custody at the St Catherine South division headquarters in Portmore. The men are scheduled to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court on January 24 next year.
