The utterances were made in his latest visual, “Numb“, released less than 24 hours ago. In this emotionally charged video, Jahshii opens up about his current state of mind, stating, “Mi a fight dah fight yah anuh punch out / born as a soldier mi nuh cub scout.”

This release comes amid a tragic incident that unfolded last Saturday. David Clarke, purportedly Jahshii’s brother, fell victim to a fatal shooting in the Grants Pen community. According to official reports, David Clarke, a 29-year-old labourer, was in a yard within Grants Pen when armed assailants approached and indiscriminately discharged their weapons. Tragically, Mr. Clarke lost his life in the hail of bullets, while another individual sustained injuries.
Community members fondly remember David Clarke, affectionately known as “Mosiah,” as a diligent and amiable young man. Testimonials affirm that he had no involvement in any criminal activities, portraying him as a genuinely good-natured individual.
This sad incident compounds the challenging circumstances already surrounding Jahshii’s family, which came under scrutiny earlier this year in connection with the investigation into the death of businessman Omar ‘Romie’ Wright.
