Attorney-at-law Donahue Martin, representing dancehall producer Linval Thompson Jr. better known as “Shab Don“, says his team will be filing an application for bail on behalf of his client.
According to Martin, his client has been in custody since Friday. Unfortunately, there isn’t much he can do or say presently aside from continuing to monitor the situation and submit a bail application.
On Friday, Shab Don was taken into custody by the Joint Anti-Gang Task Force in St Catherine South.
Last Friday, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), in a tweet, said the dancehall producer had been identified as a person of interest in the triple homicide that occurred in Rose Heights, St. James, on May 25.
According to the police report, several masked gunmen opened fire on a group of people in the area that night; five persons were shot. One man died immediately while two other persons, a man and a woman, succumbed to their injuries hours later.
