Dancehall artiste Laden also known as the “Senty King“, has released his first record since becoming a free man.
Titled “Immortal“, the Romeich Entertainment produced single, accompanied by an official video, was premiered on Saturday night via his official Youtube channel. The debut was met with a flurry of positive feedback from fans in the comment section, who lauded the entertainer for his speedy return to the music scene.
The visuals for “Immortal” is set against an opulent summer party backdrop as Laden brags about his skills in attracting the ladies.
Laden was released from the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre last month after serving almost two and a half years of a four-year prison sentence for firearm possession.
The entertainer, whose real name is O’keefe Aarons, was caught by the police in Cheapside, St Elizabeth, with an illegal firearm and ammunition. He initially complied with the police order to stop his black Mercedes-Benz motor car, but he then sped off when they approached, leading to a chase where a firearm was thrown from the car’s sunroof.
In December 2020, Laden was sentenced to four years in prison for illegal possession of a firearm and 18 months for illegal possession of ammunition after pleading guilty to the charges. The sentences were to run concurrently, with Laden serving a maximum of four years. The artiste had already spent three months in lockup prior to his initial sentencing.
