Dancehall superstar Popcaan’s recent performance in Portland, Jamaica, took an unexpected turn when his fans got a bit too enthusiastic.
As he was about to perform “My Type,” the Unruly Boss playfully suggested that the female fans near the stage should grab his foot. But things quickly got out of hand as they eagerly pulled him into the crowd, leaving his security scrambling to bring him back on stage. Thankfully, the artist was unharmed and even found humour in the situation. He later shared a video of the incident on TikTok with laughing emojis.
Popcaan is now preparing for a 13-date tour of Europe, which kicks off in Tilburg, Netherlands, on May 12th and wraps up in Madrid, Spain, on May 25th. This tour comes on the heels of the release of his album ‘Great is He‘ and its deluxe edition, which includes additional tracks. The artist is looking forward to connecting with his fans and bringing music to his core and new audiences across Europe.
Despite the incident at his recent performance, Popcaan is known for his close relationship with his fans, often interacting with them on social media and during his shows.
