Following the release of last month’s collaborative effort, “Time Heals“, featuring trending sensation Valiant, incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel has announced an upcoming EP.
Titled ‘Numb’, the forthcoming compilation is an eight-track set with a singular feature from Gaza loyalist Savage Savo titled ‘Home.’ A quick perusal of the tracklist reveals the joint effort is the final song on the compilation. Other offerings include the title track Numb, Without You, Vaccine, I Only Wanted You, Play Boy Bunny, The Search Is Over and About Last Night. The latter is the only previously released track on the project.
Numb is executively produced by Adidjaheim Records with distribution courtesy of Zojak Worldwide.
Kartel, whose given name is Adidja Palmer, was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2014 for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. Despite no physical proof of a body, he was convicted on circumstantial evidence and initially given 35 years before being eligible for parole. Following an appeal in 2020, the time was reduced to 32 years and six months.
The deejay’s attorney Isat Buchanan now handling the Privy Council appeal, has expressed sanguinity that his client will be absolved.
