Bounty Killer, dancehall luminary and one of the genre’s most outspoken advocates, seems to have found himself in a bit of a quandary with the social media platform Instagram.
His official account, which boasts a following of over 897,000, has disappeared from the platform, raising suspicions that it may have been deleted or deactivated by the service provider due to utterances he made recently.
Over the past week, Bounty has been very critical of the Jamaican Government, labelling them as ‘slave drivers’ while throwing his support behind the public sector workers’ wave of protests and demanding better compensation packages for them. He also had some unflattering remarks for the Police Commissioner General Antony Anderson, whom he dubbed a “Big Idiot Lunatic” for removing him from the current Crime Stop ad campaign.
Upon learning about the development with his account, the Warlord made a submission to Instagram to remedy the situation. However, the platform has been sluggish to act, leading to Bounty becoming infuriated. Using an alternate account (@1unogeneral), he wrote,
“Dat dutty swimstagram tell me three days ago and all now but me not sweating over no bl**dclaath page me badder dan internet nuh p*ssy cant muzzled the general say weh mi feel fi say,”
Further checks revealed that his original account has still not been restored up to Wednesday morning.
