Popular dancehall figure and music producer Aicon has announced his arrival on the iTunes Reggae Albums chart with his latest body of work.
Last week, the “Arrival Riddim“, jointly produced by Aicon Records and Thee Khemist Records, made its official entry onto the iTunes platform and continues to gain steady momentum globally.
The eight-track set made its way onto five Reggae Albums charts across the digital outlet. In Belgium, it presently occupies the No.20 spot, while in Sweden, it’s No.25; India No.19; Czech Republic No.29 and No.10 in Portugal.
“I am delighted with the feedback, considering it’s not only local fans embracing the music but those in other markets like India. That indicates to me we are doing something right.” – Aicon told Prism Marketing Consultants regarding the support surrounding the compilation.
Among the featured act are Konshens, Liquid, soca stars Nessa Preppy and Skinny Fabulous, Ghana’s StoneBwoy, Kalibwoy from The Netherlands, Spain’s Fyah Bwoy and U.S-based emerging talent Alfray.
This latest effort from Aicon and Thee Khemist is the follow-up to their six-track compilation “Love Shade Riddim“, released in March and features Shane-O and D-Yani, among others.
