After scolding popular Jamaican podcast, THE FIX, in a lengthy Youtube rant, it appears that Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj has had a change of heart.
The change occurred following the airing of the latest episode of Quik Fix, a weekly entertainment roundup of topical matters titled “Nicki Minaj Makes Scathing Remarks Towards The Fix in YouTube Comment Section”. In the episode, co-host Naro used the opportunity to explain that his comments were misinterpreted, leading to him extending an invitation to the American-based rapper for a sitdown on the platform.
On Monday afternoon, the rapper responded again in the comment section of the Youtube post stating,
“I humbly & graciously accept your invitation. Thank you. I’ll keep you guys posted on my trip.”
Implying that whenever she visits Jamaica, she may stop by the popular podcast for an interview to clear the air on several pertinent matters surrounding her career.
The miff between Nicki and THE FIX stems from Naro’s critique of the FINE NINE remix, expressing that he did not “love” the song and had “mixed feelings” about the project while questioning if it was even still Skeng’s song. He also suggested the move could be a deflection away from her alleged divisive nature with other females in the rap game. In the same vein, he also heaped praises on Minaj for bringing together all that Caribbean female star power on one track. Especially with the brooding tension between Dovey Magnum and Spice, something only an artiste of her calibre could do.
