The project, due on June 26 via Evidence Music, marks the rastafarian crooner’s first album since I-Ternal Fire in 2010 and is already being positioned as one of the most significant reggae releases of 2026.
The upcoming body of work promises a fusion of roots reggae authenticity and contemporary influence, staying true to Capleton’s signature themes of spirituality, resistance and cultural consciousness. Known for his unwavering Rastafarian message and high-energy delivery, the St. Mary-born artiste has remained active through singles and live performances over the years, but a full project has long been overdue. Heights of Fire now arrives at a time when roots reggae is regaining global traction, giving the release added cultural weight.
