Just days after its release, Rvssian’s genre-blending single What I Like is already making chart noise. The track, featuring Ghanaian star MOLIY, rising Jamaican sensation Ayetian and US rapper Tyga, has debuted at No. 6 on the U.S. iTunes Top 100 Reggae Songs Chart, fuelling early buzz that the Head Concussion Records boss could be sitting on his next Billboard-ready hit. Released on January 9, the song’s traction underscores the growing global appetite for Caribbean-forward sounds with crossover appeal.

Built on Rvssian’s sleek Recovery Riddim, What I Like thrives on cultural fluidity. MOLIY’s airy, hypnotic delivery anchors the record, reinforcing her position as one of Afrofusion’s most distinctive voices, while Ayetian injects infectious energy through a seamless blend of Jamaican Patois and Haitian Creole. Tyga’s polished West Coast verse widens the song’s mainstream reach without compromising its Caribbean core — a balance that has become Rvssian’s signature as a global hitmaker.

The timing could not be stronger for MOLIY, whose momentum continues to surge internationally. Her single Body Go featuring Tyla currently sits at No. 14 on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart, having also crossed into the R&B and Hip-Hop airplay space — a rare crossover feat. Adding further weight to the release, dancehall heavyweight Vybz Kartel offered a public co-sign, dropping a simple but potent “Badd” under MOLIY’s Instagram announcement, a nod that resonates deeply within Caribbean music culture.

For Ayetian, the collaboration marks another milestone in a breakout year, while Rvssian once again proves his ability to connect Jamaica, Ghana, Haiti and the United States through sound. With What I Like already charting and conversation building fast, all signs point to a record poised for deeper global impact — and potentially another defining moment in Rvssian’s ever-expanding catalogue.
