Dancehall is on fire this weekend as Aidonia, Shaggy, and Akon join forces for a global-ready banger titled “Boom Body,” released through a powerhouse partnership between VP Records and Shaggy’s Ranch Entertainment. The track arrived with a sleek Miami–Kingston music video on Friday and has already surged past 316,000 YouTube views, signalling a strong international appetite just as Aidonia gears up for his major return to the United Kingdom later this month.

Produced by Shaggy and Costantine “Costi Fortzaa” Ionita, the single blends island spice with crossover polish—Shaggy’s charismatic cadence, Akon’s smooth melodic touch, and Aidonia’s laser-focused dancehall delivery. It’s a reunion that feels both nostalgic and fresh, rooted in Shaggy’s instinctive ability to fuse genres and generations. For the Grammy-winning superstar, “Boom Body” continues a landmark year that has seen him front global campaigns for Peugeot and Fiat, co-curate a festival with Sting, and prepare for a major Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performance on November 27.

Meanwhile, Aidonia is in full attack mode as he prepares for a three-city UK tour following overwhelming fan demand. What was supposed to be a single London show at Troxy—now nearly sold out—has expanded to include Birmingham’s O₂ Academy and Bristol’s O₂ Academy. Promoters confirmed the upgrade on Instagram, calling it a “TOUR UPGRADE DUE TO DEMAND,” underscoring Donia’s powerful pull across the UK’s Caribbean diaspora. It also marks his return to the territory after his headline-making Sandz appearance in August, which ended abruptly due to security issues.

The 4th Genna frontman has promised a “completely different experience” this time around, with fans buzzing about rumored new releases and hoping the tour doubles as a redemption moment. For Aidonia, this run represents more than music—it’s a reaffirmation of his bond with the UK fanbase that has championed him for nearly two decades. And with “Boom Body” picking up rapid steam, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

As the track continues climbing and Aidonia prepares to touch down in London, all eyes are now on how big this collaboration—and this tour—will become.
