The exclusive affair, staged in Los Angeles, saw 450 perform to an appreciative audience, previewing an unreleased collaboration with the Nigerian hitmaker. The moment not only spotlighted 450’s growing global appeal but also added fuel to the anticipation surrounding Davido’s fifth studio album 5ive, set for release on April 18. Speaking exclusively with Prism Marketing Consultants, 450 reflected on the experience, calling it “powerful” and affirming the natural synergy between both artists. “We created something that blends both our worlds in a really authentic way,” he said. “It definitely opens new doors for me and gives the upcoming album a bigger reach, especially in markets where people might be hearing 450 for the first time.”
That upcoming project—Pieces of Me—is slated to drop on April 25, cleverly stylized as 4.25.25, a numerical nod to the artiste’s name. Though the full tracklist remains under wraps, fans have been treated to a cinematic teaser and social media hints from 450 himself, who promised, “This album is gonna be amazing!! In support of the album, 450 will embark on a three-city UK tour this May, marking a major career milestone. The journey begins May 6 at O2 Academy in Bristol, continues to O2 Institute in Birmingham, and wraps at London’s famed Roundhouse on May 11. According to the Statistical Institute of Jamaica, the local music and entertainment sector contributes over JMD $20 billion annually to the economy, much of which is powered by exports like live tours and digital streaming—a wave that 450 is riding with clear momentum.
